Customer ReviewsCanon PowerShot A720This camera is no longer made. I followed professional reviewers' advice and tracked one down. I find it as billed, including the plastic feel. However, that one negative is easy to forgive and forget considering all the positives. The one I like best is that in auto mode it is easy to use and as I learn, the camera has lots of room to grow with me. Next best, the small size makes it handy to tote.Great CameraThis camera has performed well in all situations I have subjected it to so far. I still have to learn some of the features. The zoom is great and the pictures are excellent with good color control. The flash is effective without shadow outlines, but there is some problem with red eye the way I use it. The LCD display is bright and works well even in relatively bright light. As a consequence, I have been using the display to compose pictures much more than with my previous camera. I also like being able to use AA batteries for power. The battery life is great, the display is big, and it's packed full of great features. But on the other hand, you have a lot of control over how your pictures are taken through various manual settings, the picture and movie quality is very good, zoom is decent, and the camera uses non-proprietary NiMH AA batteries.Crisp picturesTakes good pictures. Not user friendly and not enought settings to what i like to use it for. Need to look into the manual better to figure it out. But it does take great pictures.

Customer ReviewsFailed after a year - DO NOT BUY IT. This drive failed after one year. I lost a lot of personal and financial data that is not recoverable.
It was not abused. Sat on a desk for the most part. No power outages. It died during a write access for a financial program.
This is the second WD drive I have die on my in a year of use. (I had blamed myself for the first one, but maybe this is the just the way these drives are built.)
Back to paper for the financial reports. They don't need batteries. My BookThese are nice units and easy to use. One day when I turned it on it just disappeared. I tried everything but it was still not seen in My Computer or Explorer. So I formatted it. If you format them to NTFS and assign a drive letter before using it you shouldn't have the problem of it disappearing. Stay away from itMy WD drive failed after a couple months...never did any damage to it. One day, it wasn't recognized by my PC and when I powered it down and turned it back on, the clicking noises began.Great for backups!Shopping for an external drive for file backups I found this model and another brand that was 250gb for the same price. Of course I went with the larger drive for the same price!
Setup was very easy and I have it setup to backup certain VIP folders on my PC, mostly my digital photos. With my wife hounding my to burn the photos to something so we'd have a backup in case of PC failure, this has been a fantastic purchase!
The only thing I don't like about it (which is my own fault for not inspecting the package closely) is that it's not recommended to be a travelling drive and needs AC power in a place where plug space is rare in my home even with a surge strip.
Overall though, I've been very pleased with it's performance and for the space I got for what I paid.Love it!!!!I love our external hard drive. I was always so worried about my computer crashing & losing my personal information & pictures. It is so easy to use & you feel so much better knowing that everything that is so important to you is safe. It is something I think everyone that owns a computer should have.

Customer ReviewsVery Poor Range; Easy to Set UpI would have given it one star solely due to its lackluster range, but the unit does look sharp and the ease of setup was wonderful.
PROS: It is very easy to set up; the whole process took less than 5 minutes and was completely automated. The last router I set up took over an hour of fiddling and re-setting.
CONS: very low range! I have a 2600 sq ft home and the router is in a downstairs office. The signal gets lost two rooms away, which is surprising and very disappointing.
I liked this router when I set it up but now I intend to return it as its range is so extremely limited. I did a quick search online to find out if I could purchase something to extend it but after 30+ minutes gave up on that idea.
This device would only be useful for small apartments and situations where the wireless devices were within maybe 15-20 feet of the unit.
Easy to configureThis router is very easy to configure, most certainly for someone who has configured a Cisco router before. Basic settings are the same and are also configured in the same way as for other wireless Cisco routers.
I used this router to replace an old Wireless B router and wireless is a lot more robust and faster (both for Windows and using Linux).
Value for money is very good for this product.Linksys WRT54G2 Wireless-G RouterAfter purchasing a Macbook, this was a replacement for a Linksys wired router I was using. Easiest installation and set up of any router I've used to date. I bought it within the last 90 days, so I can not comment yet on how long it will last. However, I have had better luck with Linksys than with other routers I've used in the past (I've had bad experiences with Belkin and Netgear products in the past). The range on this seems only a little better than other wireless routers I've used in the past. I live in a ranch style house, and due to interference only about half the house is within range of the wireless signal. Easy setup, short rangeAll the reviews that talk about the ease of use are entirely on the money. My problem came with the range of the device. It had issues even keeping a strong signal for 50ft. I was worried it had to do with the materials in our walls, but a TRENDnet device came in a did the job.Won't RegretCan't go wrong with this router. I installed it in 30 minutes , now I have my wired desktop PC , wireless laptop and PS3 sharing files. The range is pretty good and the ability to wirelessly filter MAC address is perfect.

My only wish is that it were abit lighter but I think the only way will occur is if they switch to smaller batteries however then the cost of batteries would be more and they wouldn't last as long probably. Anyway I like it especially the two light feature. As for the glare I just move it around, the other way I get rid of the glare when I am reading in bed at night is to balance it between the pillows so it faces the Kindle screen. This little light will be great when those winter power outages occur!!!!!!!So SoI think it works just OKAY. You have to clip it on to your jacket...and it dented my jacket. It doesn't store all that well. But it is what it is. I think any book light could work, not specifically designed for Kindle. Great light!This is a great book light for the Kindle. My Kindle arrived yesterday and I immediately tried it out with the Mighty Bright Xtraflex 2 attached and found that it does perfectly what it was designed to do....light the reading surface of the Kindle. I read in some of the reviews that it caused a glare on the screen; however I found that it is very easy to position it so that there is absolutely no glare cast on the screen. I am completely satisfied and would recommend this product to anyone with a Kindle. I also tried it with a regular hard cover book and noted that it lights the left and right pages equally, with no shadows.

Customer ReviewsVery disappointing!!I purchased this camera 8 months ago. Still images are almost always blurry. The zoom quit working after just 4 months. The pictures come out grainy appearing, all no matter the setting. The flash works very poorly, as well, and you must be very close to your subject to have any effect. Also, there is a delay when you take a picture, of up to 4 seconds, so if you need a quick shot, it won't happen. I would not recommend this camera. Another winner in the ELPH seriesThis is my THIRD Canon Elph, and I enjoy each one more than the previous one. As a happy owner of an SD400, I moved onto this one as an upgrade and I have not been disappointed.
The functions of this one are even better than previous models. The video is actually SO great for a small point and shoot that I find myself using it more and more for clips of the kids and we watch the video on a HUGE screen tv and it looks great! I think redeye processing on this model has improved a bit over the previous model, but I still think it could do better. That's really my ONLY complaint with this camera.
I've taken great shots and had them blown up to posters for my wall. I love the fun color features of this camera as well. It does great night shots and I've taken some wonderful fireworks photos. I don't leave home without this camera!Great point and shoot I have a rebel XTi and it is a wonderful camera but for my college design class it is not particularly handy for getting from one place to another, especially to photograph process work in class everyday. So naturally I came straight here to buy this one because of excellent ship timing and good customer service. I'm a electronics sales person at a large office supplier and had previously sold this camera not only to other people but to myself figuratively as well. I had seen it in action in the store previously and wanted one myself. I love it, have had it for 3 or 4 weeks no problems with functionality at all. The screen got scuffed a bit but that's to be expected and doesn't necessarily degrade my opinion of the camera, especially because its mostly my fault. Fits in my pocket great too, good for Friday nights and such. Its a little slow in red eye mode but that's easily fixed by changing it out of that mode. Love the screen size. Excellent camera, buy it.Can't see screen when it's sunnyWhen I ordered this camera, I didn't realized it didn't have an optical viewfinder. The upshot is that it has a wonderful, large LCD screen that is perfect--unless it is sunny out, in which case the screen is totally washed out and you are left shooting blindly and hoping for the best. It does take great pictures, but the lack of viewfinder is a major flaw if you ever want to take photos on a bright day.Great Pocket CameraI used this camera in Mexico for a week and it was fantastic both indoors and out. It also took great sunset shots.
